Skills Training

STEMatch worked with business and technology execs to identify the key work skills for which they hire. COMPETE offers virtual seminars during the evening to help you build those skills.

Career Mentorship

As part of the COMPETE program, you will be eligible for professional mentoring by executives and tech professionals from STEMatch partner companies.

Paid internships & co-ops

Students typically gain paid internship interviews with 2-3 STEMatch partner companies. However, STEMatch will help you prepare for and execute your internship job search - whether with STEMatch company partners or other companies. Our goal is simple: helping you get the paid, industry experience you need to get your first full-time job after graduation.

Networking

STEMatch COMPETE Students are invited to STEMatch’s Annual Gathering - to celebrate their completion of the COMPETE program. At the event, they mingle with all of STEMatch’s company partners and other industry executives.

STEMatch provides a personalized work-skills assessment for each student and companies provide input to students on steps to take to maximize their hireability.
