General Dynamics Mission Systems hosts 6th graders from Pittsfield’s Reid Middle School

Students from Reid Middle School visited General Dynamics Mission Systems to learn about jobs at the company, and how STEM subjects can lead to really interesting and rewarding jobs. GDMS staff led students through projects such as making bracelets with their names in binary code, designing and testing aluminum foil boats to learn about buoyancy, making electronic circuits with Play Doh, and piloting an aircraft carrier in the GDMS Simulator.
